Job title: Cargo Charter BrokerDepartment: Cargo
Key Purpose: You are responsible for building up customer relationships that lead to a stable client list by targeting freight forwarders and shippers to introduce our services, create an awareness of our presence in this market and culminating in them using the services of Air Charter Service.
Reporting to: Director, Cargo Sales / Assistant Director, Cargo Sales
Key Responsibilities/Tasks
? Collect information and build up a contact list of potential customers
? Contacting freight forwarders and shippers to introduce our services
? Create an awareness of our presence in this market
? Persuade customers to use our services
? Developing customer base and maintaining accurate information on the database to support this on an ongoing basis
? Marketing via a variety of media to potential clients to ensure consistent client base growth
? Ensuring ongoing effective relationships with customer base
? Having an expert understanding of: the aircraft we use for transporting cargo, their range, payload, flight plans, flight times, fuel, handling, availability etc.
? Training other team members as required
? Assisting team and manager with ad hoc projects as required
? Meeting deadlines for all projects
? Complete any reasonable instruction from a more senior person
