珠海摩天宇成立于2001年4月6日，是中国南方航空集团公司和德国最大的发动机制造商--MTU航空发动机有限公司（MTU  Aero  Engines  GmbH）各出资50%合资组建的民用航空发动机维修企业。总投资额1.89亿美元，  为国内迄今为止投资规模最大、维修等级最高的航空发动机维修基地，拥有员工580多人，为中国、亚洲乃至世界各国运营V2500和CFM56-3/-5B/-7系列发动机的航空公司提供优质、高效以及便利的民用航空发动机修理、翻修、维护和各种辅助服务。厂房占地15.6万平方米，目前年维修量为200台，其试车台可适用于目前市场上所有航空发动机的检测，并可满足未来15万磅推力级别的航空发动机的检测需求。自2003年1月正式营运以来，已先后获得中国民航局CAAC、欧洲航空安全局EASA、美国民航局FAA、日本民航局JCAB以及印度尼西亚、越南和新加坡等国家的适航维修许可证，客户遍布中国，亚洲以及欧美各国。投产8年间，公司维修的发动机数量持续增长，第三方客户业务发展迅速，现已成为中国第一大民用航空发动机维修公司，并在亚洲市场处于领先地位。几年间，胡锦涛总书记、吴邦国委员长、温家宝总理及贾庆林主席等党和国家领导人先后亲切视察了珠海摩天宇，并对几年来所取得的成绩给予了高度评价。2009年8月，珠海摩天宇开始了厂房的二期扩建工程，该项目计划于2012年完工，届时公司的产能将达到年维修量300台发动机。



MTU  Maintenance  Zhuhai  is  a  joint  venture  between  China  Southern  Airlines,  China′s  largest  carrier,  and  MTU  Aero  Engines,  Germany′s  leading  engine  manufacturer.  Launched  with  an  initial  investment  of  189  million  US  dollars  and  a  capacity  of  200  engines  a  year,  the  company  spreads  over  156,000  square  meters  of  land  in  the  Zhuhai  Free  Trade  Zone,  close  to  Hong  Kong  and  Macao.  It  comes  equipped  with  a  high-tech  machine  pool  and  a  highly  modern  test  cell  accommodating  engines  up  to  150,000  pounds  of  thrust.  The  shop  was  certified  and  approved  by  CAAC  (Civil  Aviation  Administration  of  China)  in  April  2003,  by  the  European  EASA  in  July  2003  and  by  FAA  (Federal  Aviation  Authority)  in  November  2003,  etc.  roughly  20  approvals  worldwide  in  total.  Since  it  started  operation  in  January  2003,  MTU  Maintenance  Zhuhai  has  successfully  overhauled  more  than  1,100  V2500  and  CFM56  engines  from  airlines  from  all  over  the  world.  Now  it  is  the  No.  1  aircraft  engine  maintenance,  repair  and  overhaul  facility  in  China.  To  cater  for  the  future  growth,  the  company  started  its  facility  extension  in  August  of  2009.  By  2012  when  the  extension  is  completed,  the  annual  capacity  of  MTU  Maintenance  Zhuhai  will  increase  by  50%  from  the  current  number  of  200 联 系 人： 人力资源部
