Summary  of  Role  

To  hold  overall  responsibility  for  quality  management  within  the  business  ensuring  that  procedures  and  processes  are  adhered  to  in  accordance  with  company,  customer,  statutory  and  regulatory  requirements.  This  shall  include  responsibility  for  formulating  and  maintaining  procedures  and  maintaining  quality  standards  for  materials,  components  and  products  through  the  implementation  of  effective  quality  assurance  procedures  and  controls.  Will  work  extensively  with  suppliers,  co-workers  and  customers  to  ensure  process  controls  are  in  place  to  guarantee  levels  of  quality.  Will  be  responsible  for  managing  internal  and  external  audits,  driving  continuous  improvement  within  the  company  and  its  supply  chain,  fault  finding  processes  using  statistical  tools  and  ensuring  compliance  and  accreditation  with  local  and  international  standards  

Key  Tasks  

·Management,  development  and  leadership  of  all  quality  activities.  
·Liaison  with  customers,  suppliers,  statutory  and  regulatory  authorities.  
·Management  of  approval  requirements  and  ongoing  maintenance.  
·Development  and  management  of  supplier  evaluation  and  auditing  processes.  
·Development  and  management  of  process  control  and  inspection  activities.  
·Plan  and  implement  effective  manufacturing  techniques  which  are  designed  to  eliminate  quality  and  manufacturing  issues  within  the  Supply  Chain  
·Develop  measures  of  performance  and  promote  continuous  improvement  activities  within  the  supply  chain.  
·Management  of  Calibration  system  
·Management  of  non-conformance  issues  ensuring  root  cause  corrective  action  is  taken  to  eliminate  future  risk.  
·Management  of  all  drawings,  specifications  and  work  instructions.  
·Any  other  tasks  deemed  commensurate  with  your  role  by  management.  

Qualities  Required  

·Bachelor  Degree  above  in  relevant  discipline  
·3  years  experience  in  a  Quality  Management  role,  ideally  for  a  multi  national  high  technology  manufacturing  company  
·Experienced  in  formulating  quality  procedures  and  co-ordination  of  gaining  and  maintaining  relevant  approvals.  
·Experience  of  implementing  process  control  improvements  and  continuous  improvement  activities  
·Track  record  of  successfully  delivering  high  levels  of  quality  performance.  
·Excellent  communication  skills  with  the  ability  to  influence  others.  
·Fluent  in  English  (both  written  and  spoken)  
·Able  to  work  with  minimal  supervision  yet  deliver  business  objectives
