JOB  DESCRIPTION:The  job  holder  is  responsible  for  the  relevance,  quality  and  consistency  of  the  contracts  entered  into  by  MC  procurement,  notably  by:　  Defining,  and  ensuring  the  implementation  of,  the  contractual  policy  for  Procurement  taking  into  account  the  input  provided  by  the  Commodity  Leaders  and  Buyers.　Negotiation  of  the  main  procurement  contracts  and  agreements  and  working  as  a  team  with  the  buyers.　Main  Responsibilities:　Is  accountable  for  providing  establishing  and  maintaining  a  set  of  standard  contracts,  tools  and  processes  to  be  used  for  the  preparation,  negotiation  and  post-signature  management  of  contracts  over  its  perimeter　Is  accountable  for  the  negotiation  of  the  main  contracts  and  amendments  thereto  as  part  of  the  negotiation  team,  so  as  to  limit  MC's  exposure  to  risks  and  to  maximise  opportunities  and  leverages  for  MC  through  the  contractual  language　Ensures  appropriate  co-ordination  with  functions  involved  or  having  an  interest  in  the  negotiation  (Finance,  Legal,  Programme,  Support)　Is  responsible  for  organising  a  consolidated  data  base,  containing  all  contracts  entered  into  by  Procurement.Required  of  Skills　Experience:　Contracts  Expert  with  high-level  Organisational  Capabilities:　Successful  experience  in  commercial  contracts  (drafting,  negotiation)  and  procurement  issues　Knowledge  and  understanding  of  contracts,  negotiation  and  aircraft  technologies.  Generic  knowledge  of,  and  experience  in,  all  matters  covered  by  Procurement.　Significant  experience  in  contractual  and/or  commercial  and/or  procurement  and/or  legal  matters  (drafting,  negotiation)　Experience  in  international  law  and  regulations.　Team  spirit  and  business-orientation　Excellent  verbal  and  written  English
