职位职责和职位要求(Job  Responsibilities  &  Requirements)：    
PURPOSE  OF  JOB:
??  To  understand  customer  requirements  and  compile  work  statements  including  initial  concepts
??  To  Scheme  electrical  design  solutions  and  show  Innovation  in  design
??  To  Improve  on  existing  electrical  design  in  warranty  cases
??  To  programme  design  activities  to  meet  budgets  and  timescales
??  To  prepare  accurate  quotations  in  support  of  customer  requirements.
??  To  ensure  final  design  complies  with  prime  costs  for  material  and  labour.
KEY  AUTHORITIES  AND  RESPONSIBILITIES:
??  Design  to  meet  customer  and  airframe  specifications
??  Ensure  that  electrical  design  complies  with  the  regulatory  body  certifying  the  product.
??  Review  task  schedule  and  budget  with  Design  Manager.
??  Check  Drawings  and  design  solutions
??  Control  and  development  prototypes
??  Liase  with  customers  on  a  regular  basis  and  support  customer  meetings.
??  To  support  the  development  of  lighting  schemes  &  the  incorporation  into  the  “mechanical”  design  criteria.
??  Preparation  of  accurate  quotations  of  labour  hours
??  Ensure  implementation  of  methods  to  reduce  lead  time/costs  of  products  (Design  For  Manufacture)
??  To  promote  and  help  achieve  overall  objectives  for  Heath  Tecna.
??  To  support  the  production  of  SB’s  and  CMM’s  in  conjunction  with  Technical  Publications
PREFERRED  EXPERIENCE  &  QUALIFICATIONS:
??  BSc  Degree  or  equivalent  –  with  2  years  experience  in  a  similar  role,  Experience  of  Aircraft  electrical  installations,  minimum  5  years.
??  Have  good  Communication  skills,  written  and  verbal  and  evidence  of  man  management  skills.
??  CAD  experience  CATIA  V4  and  V5  with  a  min  2000  hours  user  experience  in  each.
??  Knowledge  of  Civil  Aircraft/Boeing/Airbus  -  Electrical  specification  and  Wiring  Diagrams.
??  Knowledge  of  Airworthiness  requirements  for  interior  electrical  equipment.
??  Have  a  working  knowledge  of  English  in  previous  employment.

OTHER  CONDITIONS:
?  Willingness  and  ability  to  travel  abroad,  sometimes  at  short  notice.
