Job  Title:    FM  Engineer

Job  Responsibilities:

-  Generate  and  optimize  long  term  airplane  maintenance  plans  using  the  Fleet  management  tool.  

-  On  a  daily  basis,  coordinate  and  schedule  all  airplane  routine  maintenance  events  and  review  the  airline  current  flight  schedule  to  best  plan  scheduled  maintenance.

-  With  the  customer  airline  maintenance  control  and  contracted  maintenance  providers,  coordinate  all  scheduled  airplane  maintenance  events  thru  daily  conference  calls.  

-  Initiate  and  distribute  work  packages  to  maintenance  providers  for  all  scheduled  line  maintenance  events.

-  Individual  will  accomplish  the  generation  of  routine  and  planned  maintenance  schedules  and  the  support  of  maintenance  teams  in  the  execution  of  these  maintenance  plans.

-  Responsibilities  also  include  identifying  task  forecasting  due  within  the  Management  tool  and  then  scheduling  these  tasks  for  accomplishments  at  an  approved  maintenance  provider  facilities.

-  Using  the  management    tools,  investigate  identified  operational  problems,  determining  operational  impacts,  document  findings,  and  execute  a  solution  or  present  possible  solutions  to  duty  manager  on  shift  as  necessary.

-  Interface,  coordinate,  and  present  solutions  to  all  related  managers  in  regard  to  any  planning  related  issues  affecting  dispatch  ability  of  aircraft.

-  Develop  and  implement  solutions  to  resolve  operational  problems.

-  Individual  will  work  with  multiple  organizations  and  suppliers  to  accomplish  these  tasks.  As  part  of  the  assignment  the  individual  will  identify  and  lead  process  improvement  activities.

    Requirements

-  A  minimum  of  5  years  airline  /  MRO  maintenance  planning  related  experience,  extensive  working  knowledge,  experience  and  understanding  of  commercial  airline  engineering  and  maintenance  operations.  

-  Technical  knowledge  of  commercial  aviation  operations  and  maintenance  environment  desired.

-  The  ideal  candidate  will  have  extensive  and  direct  Air  Carrier  ((Federal  Aviation  Regulation  (FAR)  Part  121))  and/or  MRO  (FAR  Part  145)  experience.

-  Well  developed  organizational  and  project  management  skills;  ability  to  create  and  implement  plans  and  schedules.

-  Ability  to  multi-task  and  shift  priority  based  on  customer  and  management  input  is  essential.

-    Excellent  computer  skills  including  MS  Office  Suite

Education
FAA  Airframe  and  Power  Plant  Certificate,  Associates  degree  or  higher  in  an  aviation  technical  field  preferred.
