Essential  Responsibilities  
Provide  lead  in  sourcing  ASPAC  telecom  services  (voice/data)  for  the  benefit  of  xx  Business  Units  in  terms  of  cost  effectiveness,  cost  savings,  &  quality  of  services.

Lead  initiatives  to  digitize  telecom  procurement  &  settlement  processes  in  ASPAC  region.

Formulate  negotiation  strategies  and  alternatives,  then  leading  all  aspects  of  contract  negotiations.

Develop  and  lead  supplier  governance  and  operating  rhythm  ensuring  service  and  contractual  compliance.

Monitor  &  improve  existing  services/prices  through  supplier  scorecards  &  benchmarking.  

Capture  and  implement  xx  Business  Unit  requirements  in  new  service  contracts.

Lead  the  development  and  execution  of  RFPs  for  various  telecom  services

Source  ASAPAC  telecom  services  such  as:  Inbound/Outbound/IDDD/Card/Audio  Conf.  Voice  services,  Wide  Area  Networks  (BGP,  ATM,  Frame  Relay,  MPLS);  Last-mile  networks  (SONET,  Local/PTT  services);  Internet  VPN;  Outbound  Internet;  Broadband;  Video;  Wireless  voice/data  services,  voice  &  data  hardware  

Qualifications/Requirements

BS/BA  degree  in  IT/EE,  or  Business,  or  equivalent  experience.  
Financial  –  experience  working  with  financial  information  as  a  means  of  decision  making,  pricing  comparisons  &  benchmarking.  

Ability  to  lead  others  through  influencing  &  facilitation  skills.

Exceptionally  strong  written/verbal  communication.

Experienced/Savvy  negotiator  –  Comfortable  negotiating  at  the  highest  levels  of  a  supplier.  

Experienced  with  principles  and  procedures  related  to  contract  terms  and  conditions.

Drive  to  execute  under  extreme  deadline  pressures.  

Strong  business  acumen.  

Desired  Characteristics  

MBA  with  an  additional  8-10  years  of  commercial  experience.

Strong  customer  service  mindset.

Demonstrated  project  management  skills  with  ability  to  lead  multiple,  highly  visible  initiatives.

Independent  thinker  with  the  proven  history  of  shifting  paradigms.
