Raw  Material  Project  Manager  

Location:  Shanghai  

Report  to:  Supply  Chain  Management  and  Sourcing  Director  

Performance  of  skilled  in:  

                            ?  

Raw  Material  manufacturing  such  as  ring  and  close  die  forgings,  investment  and  sand  castings;  

?  

Projects  management  from  development  to  full  production;  

?  

Physical  layout  of  machinery  and  most  efficient  sequence  of  operations  and  work  flow.  

  

Responsibilities:  

                            ?  

Responsible  for  development  and  transition  to  production  schedule  at  raw  material  supplier  in  China.  

?  

Support  implementation  of  raw  material  resourcing  projects  for  China.  

?  

Provide  technical  support  to  raw  material  suppliers  in  China.  

?  

Responsible  for  entire  raw  material  development  projects  with  significant  scope  and  complexity;  Contributes  to  the  department  or  business  unit  by  applying  their  advanced  knowledge  of  one  or  more  functional  areas;  

?  

May  develop  and  coach  others;  

?  

Has  expert  knowledge  that  extends  across  multiple  disciplines.  

  

Requirements:  

                            ?  

Bachelor  degree  in  engineering  with  6  to  10  years  experience;  or  Master  degree  in  engineering  with  4  to  7  years  experience;  or  PhD  degree  in  engineering  with  2  to  4  years  experience.  

?  

Aerospace  industry  experience  is  preferred.  

?  

Bilingual  (English  and  Chinese  Mandarin)  with  good  written  and  oral  communication.  

?  

Demonstrated  skills  in  Project  Management.  

?  

Technical  leadership  qualities  and  team  player.  

?  

Ability  to  function  in  high  pace  environment  to  meet  objectives  and  deadlines.  

?  

Ability  to  work  with  little  supervision  to  get  job  done.  

?  

Knowledge  in  material  engineering  is  an  asset.  

?  

Traveling  within  China  and  some  international  travel  will  be  required.
