Strategy  &  Marketing  Leader,  Asia  Pacific,  M&PM  

The  Strategy  &  Marketing  Leader,  Asia  Pacific  will  lead  the  development  of  the  regional  marketing  strategy  by  working  closely  with  the  SBUs,  Product  Marketing,  and  other  functions:  

  

·                                        Asia  Pacific  regional  annual  Strategic  Plan  (STRAP)  (60%)

o              Coordinate  with  Aero  Corporate  STRAP

o              Identify,  quantify  and  prioritize  key  opportunities  in  region

o              Identify  and  understand  key  macro  trends

o              Help  identify  and  fill  M&A  “pipeline”  consistent  with  overall  Aero  strategy

o              Be  regional  “eyes  and  ears”,  with  regard  to  competitive  and  customer  developments

o              Conduct  key  regional  voice  of  the  customer  analyses,  and  assure  that  regional  implications  are  connected  to  broader  Aero  efforts      

o              Responsible  for  communication  of  regional  STRAP    



·                                        Provide  tactical  marketing  and/or  analytic  support  to  regional  SBUs  and  other  functions  (40%)

o              Specific  projects,  ranging  from:

§                  Customer  value  proposition  support  for  SBUs

§                  Specific  regional  competitive  analysis

§                  Support  to  ISC/Engineering  as  appropriate  



·                                        Provide  local  leadership  to  Strategy  and  Marketing  team

o              Mentoring  and  professional  development  for  junior  talent

o              Day  to  day  oversight  of  work

o              Project  and  work  prioritization  for  team


  

Qualifications:  

  

·                                        BS  or  BA  in  Technical  or  Business  related  field.  Advanced  degree  (MS  or  MBA)  strongly  preferred  

·                                        Strong  quantitative  analysis  skills  including  financial  modeling,  scenario  assessment,  value  analysis  and  customer  segmentation  

·                                        5+  years  progressively  responsible  marketing  management  experience  within  the  aerospace  or  similar  industry  

·                                        Working  knowledge  of  features  and  performance  that  relates  to  value  creation  (or  life  cycle  cost  of  ownership)  for  mechanical  and  electronic  systems  in  highly  engineered  products  

·                                        Results  focused  with  successful  record  of  accomplishments  through  skilled  use  of  influence,  persuasion,  negotiation,  and  problem  resolution  

·                                        Excellent  team  building  skills,  ability  to  lead  and  thrive  in  a  matrix  environment  

·                                        Ability  to  work  effectively  across  a  large  and  complex,  global  organization  

·                                        Effective  project  management,  communication,  and  presentation  skills  

·                                        Ability  to  travel  both  domestically  and  internationally  

·                                        Six  Sigma  Greenbelt  trained/certified.  Black  belt  desirable
