JOB  TITLE:  Engineering  and  Planning  Director

  

REPORTING  TO:  COO

  

MAIN  JOB  DUTIES  /  RESPONSIBILITIES

  

1、                    Responsibility,  authority,  and  accountability  for  managing  and  leading  a  diverse  organization  of  Aerospace  Engineers,  Specialists,  Maintenance  Planners  and  Technicians,  chartered  with  providing  depot  level  commercial  aircraft  Modifications  and  Maintenance  Services.

2、                    Establishes  organizational  reporting  relationships  and  operating  policies  and  procedures.  

3、                    Exerts  influence  in  the  overall  objectives  and  long-range  goals  of  the  organization.  Participates  on  the  Senior  Leadership  Team.  

4、                    Manages  safety,  environment  ,  quality,  schedule,  and  financial  requirements  of  the  organization  to  ensure  contractual  commitments  and  airworthiness  standards  of  the  company  are  met.  

5、                    Directly  interfaces  with  regulatory  agencies,  customers  and  suppliers  in  the  execution  of  multiple/concurrent  projects  which  include  all  contract  types.  

6、                    Acts  as  primary  customer  contact  for  project  status,  airworthiness  design,  and  performance,  anticipates  customer  needs.  Supports  production  departments  with  job  cards,  drawings,  manuals,  standards  and  production  management  information  systems.  

7、                    Knowledge  of  site  setup  and  certification  activities  related  to  the  modification,  maintenance,  operation  and  repair  of  large  commercial  in-service  aircraft  essential。  

  

Job  Requirements:

  

1.                Bachelor's  degree  required  in  Industrial  Engineering  or  Aeronautical  Engineering  &  10  yrs  mgmt  experience  in  Maintenance  ,  Repair  and  Overhaul  (  MRO)  of  large  transport  aircraft.  Engineering  master's  degree  &  5  yrs  mgmt  experience  in  MRO    industry,  or  12-15  yrs  of  directly  related  mgmt  experience    in  production  planning  and    liasion  engineering    in  an  MRO  

2.                Must  have  a  proven  track  record  as  a  Planning  or  Engineering  leader,  in  maintenance,  modification,  repair  and  overhaul  of  large  transport    aircraft.  In  addition  to  high  standards  in  terms  of  quality,  ethics,    safety  and  environment  in  the  workplace,  the  candidate  must  have  a  strong    knowledge  of    airline  maintenance  operations,  aircraft  engineering  and  maintenance    processes,  FAA,  CAAC,  JCAB  and  other  regulatory  agency    requirements  and  certification.  

3.                Proven  ability  to  work  as  a  team  player  at  the  senior  leadership  level  ,    excellent  customer  interface,  organization  and  planning  skills,  and  strong  people  skills  are  required  

4.                Multi-language  capability,  applicable  to  the  region,  strongly  preferred.  Occasional  travel  to  various  locations  within  the  region  will  be  required.  Proficiency  in  speaking  English  required  and  Chinese  is  strongly  preferred.  

  

            annual  salary:  RMB  60-100  million  yuan.
