Responsibilities:

  

·                    The  Contracts  Delivery  Manager  (CDM)  is  the  Airbus  responsible  for  the  negotiation  of  the  Commitment  Letter.

  

·                    In  order  to  ensure  and  agree  a  contractual  commercial  settlement  with  the  customer  (Owner  and  /  or  Operator)  of  all  deviations  (technical,  quality  and/or  definition)  at  time  of  aircraft  delivery,  the  CDM  has  to  permanently  monitor:

1.        the  evolution  of  the  aircraft  definition  through  SCN,  MSCN  and  AD-related  modifications  from  CDF  onwards,

2.        build  standard  during  assembly  and  customer  requests  in  terms  of  design  and  delivery  schedule.

  

The  CDM  combines  this  information  with  a  continuous  risk  analysis  in  terms  of  contractual  /  commercial  impacts.  If  necessary  he  decides  and  launches  all  necessary  actions,  based  on  commercial  balancing,  for  recovery  actions  before  the  start  of  Customer  Acceptance.

  

·                    The  Contracts  Delivery  Manager  is  responsible  for  formalizing  to  the  best  interest  of  Airbus  the  agreements  taken  between  him/her  and  the  customer  (Owner  and  /  or  Operator)  throughout  the  production  and  delivery  process,  including  but  not  limited  to  financial  compensation,  retrofit  campaign,  warranty  extension  etc.  

  

·                    Feedback  experience  of  commercial  and  contractual  issues  to  ensure  continuous  improvement  in  all  functions  to  minimize  Airbus  exposure.

  

·                    If  deemed  necessary  and  on  customer  request,  the  CDM  calls  for  Commitment  Letter  review  meetings.

  

·                    Represent  Airbus  in  Tianjin  China  for  official/frequent  social  events  with  customers  e.g.  delivery  ceremonies,  delivery  dinners,  attendance  to  which  is  deemed  mandatory  in  order  to  protect  said  good  level  of  relationship  with  the  customer  and  to  represent  the  company  towards  customers,  suppliers  and  third  parties.

  

·                    The  CDM  initiates  and  performs  the  introduction  of  a  new  customer  (Management  Level)  to  the  Airbus  Acceptance  and  Delivery  Process.

  

Qualifications  Requirements:

  

·                    Technical  or  Commercial  university  degree  or  equivalent.

·                    More  than  5  years  working  experience  within  an  airline  or  aviation  industry.

·                    Good  verbal  and  written  English  skill;  French  or  German  would  be  beneficial.

·                    Good  communication  and  negotiation  skills,  customer  service  and  problem-solving  skills.  

·                    Good  organizational  skills.
