Responsibilities:

This  position  supports  the  R&D  manager  in  the  development  and  implementation  of  R&D  strategy  in  China,  Japan  and  South  Korea  and  builds  a  global  vision  around  the  R&D  landscape  in  these  countries.
Project  management

Follow-up  of  actual  projects,  organise  update  meetings
Identify  new  partners,  organise  exploratory  meetings,  collect  information  (publications,  PPT,  etc.),  prepare  visit  reports  for  IW  experts  in  Europe
R&D  Coordination:

Analyse  the  status  of  R&D  in  China,  Japan  and  North  Korea  and  follows-up  progress  of  technologies  of  interest  for  the  group.
Technological  watch  and  communication:

Set-up  Tech  Watch  tools  (Newsletter,  etc.)
Coordinate  with  IW  Europe  to  initiate  and  follow-up  contests,  challenges,  workshops,  etc.
Promote  Business  Unit  and  IW  innovative  products  to  North  Asian  potential  customers

Promote  MACROS  software,  identify  potential  customers
Support  to  EADS  in  promoting  other  products  in  North  Asia
Support  locally  IW  in  developing  engineering  products  (softwares,  model  interfaces,  etc.)

Qualifications  Requirements:

Education  Engineering  degree  or  equivalent  
Experience  First  experience  in  a  project  team.  
Specific  knowledge  Good  knowledge  of  North  Asia  academic  institutions  and  research  structures,  contacts  with  research  actors  in  North  Asia  and  Europe.  
Good  writing  expression
Knowledge  of  at  least  one  programmation  language  (HTML,  C++,  etc.)
    
Business  understanding  Knowledge  of  the  North  Asia  industrial  network
